Although I haven't visited in years, Aunt Irene has always held a special place in my heart. She always gave me guidance and stability that was not present anywhere else. No matter how difficult family issues were, she was always above the fray. The peacemaker, the beacon of light in an otherwise gloomy world. Just knowing you were always there and would always love all of your family, no matter the circumstances has been a comfort in my life. You will be missed.

Irene was a very sweet mother-in-law to me. She loved me, accepted me, and taught me so many things. We always enjoyed our time together. She loved her grandchildren and always took time to do special things with them (like taking them fishing, swimming, or just showing them things in nature. She loved the outdoors. Thank you Irene!

Paul and Family, What a positive spirit Irene always showed.....a true example of courage and endurance amid so many challenges in health thru many years. Her wisdom was evident in most any subject matter, and yet she was so humble and appreciated any little thing done for her. She chose to be happy. I worked with Irene many years at Munro and Company.....she was always dependable and had a very good work ethic, appreciated by all. I had the privilege of sharing many weekly visits with her and will miss her lovely smile. Paul, you were very special to Irene and she appreciated and loved you very much. You were an excellent caregiver....the best. And her sons are to be commended for their love and care as well. Irene will leave an empty space in many lives. Friend John Dickey
